Austin Riggs is the Founder, President, and Executive Director of Supporting Access and Assistance Program (SAAP). Austin established the organization to help reduce financial barriers to mental health care for working adults and families in Franklin County, Maine. Through Austin's leadership, SAAP works to improve access to outpatient mental health services while promoting community support, accountability, and long-term sustainability.
Drawing on experience in leadership, advocacy, community service, and nonprofit development, Austin oversees the organization's strategic direction, partnerships, program development, and daily operations. As President of SAAP, Austin works closely with the Board of Directors to support responsible organizational growth, strengthen community relationships, and help ensure that the organization remains focused on its mission and the individuals it was created to serve.
A strong belief in collaboration and community involvement continues to shape the organization's direction. By working alongside community organizations, professionals, advocates, and supporters, Austin seeks to strengthen access to mental health resources while helping build a sustainable foundation for future growth. This approach emphasizes practical solutions, responsible stewardship, and a long-term commitment to supporting individuals and families facing barriers to care.
Austin remains committed to advancing SAAP's mission and ensuring the organization serves the community with integrity, compassion, and purpose.
